TAACS is a program of Burrun Dalai, an accredited Aboriginal community controlled out of home care agency that has been operational for over 10 years. TAACS provides foster placements and case management for Aboriginal children & young people. Also recruits, assesses, trains and supports foster carers.

Burrun Dalai OOHC & FSS & TAACS is an accredited Aboriginal community controlled out of home care agency that has been operational for over 10 years. The services provides foster care for Aboriginal children and young people from GFC level to IFC level. Aboriginal Carers are recruited, assessed, trained and provided ongoing support.

We offer carers:

  • 24/7 on call services
  • Ongoing training
  • Foster Care Allowance
  • Ongoing events during the year

To become an Aboriginal Foster Carer you must have the maturity to provide care to Aboriginal children & Young people. Single people, couples, families, with or without children of your own can be foster carers. You do not need to own your own home, but have enough room for a foster child or young person
