Biripi Aboriginal Children’s Service & Walanbaa Gaayili Out of Home Care Service provides Foster Care Support Services to Foster & Kinship/Relative Carers and is an inclusive not-for profit organisation that provides a high quality fostering service that meet the range of needs of children and young people in out-of-home care.

We offer carers:

  • 24/7 access to caseworker advice & assistance
  • Peer support
  • Ongoing training
  • Tax free allowance
  • Access to social activities
  • Access to Medical and Dental Services via Biripi Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre

We need Aboriginal Carers and non-aboriginal Carers to cater to the individual needs of the Aboriginal children and young people in our care. Foster carers are everyday members of the community who have a strong commitment to children and young people. They can be families, couples or singles.
